Mourning in the Fiat home: Cesare Romiti died at 97, in his home in Milan, former president (from 1996 to 1998) and CEO (from 1976 to 1996) of the Turin automotive group. Born in Rome in 1923, Romiti marked the history of the Fiat group alongside theGianni Agnelli lawyer: united in business success but divided by sporting faith, pbecause Romiti was a Roma fan at Juventus.

Not only the 24 years spent at Fiat in Romiti’s rich curriculum: he was president of Rcs MediaGroup (from 1998 to 2004), before moving on to Impregilo, and he also founded the Italy-China Foundation, of which he was president.
